About The Position

As a Security Officer Licensed Patrol Driver in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support staff, visitors, and patients with exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid commercial driver’s license is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, donors, and/or patients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including parking areas, entrances, hallways, and perimeter points, to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that need attention.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, helping to follow site protocols for entry, restricted areas, and/or after-hours access within a healthcare-related setting.
  • Support daily operations by reporting hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or policy issues, while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.
