The Professional Armed Hospital Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of a local hospital in Leawood, Kansas. This role involves acting as a visible deterrent to crime, responding to incidents, and maintaining a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by implementing safety and security procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and effectively.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
• Prepare written reports and logs in a neat and legible manner.
• Greet guests and employees in a professional and welcoming manner.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age (21 for Armed or Taser positions).
• High school diploma, college degree, or GED required, with verifiable education.
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience within the last 5 years, including at least 2 years of verifiable work history.
• Valid guard card/license as required by the state of application.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
