Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a utilities location. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, document observations, and assist employees and visitors with professional customer service and clear communication. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma and/or GED.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal post orders, security-related procedures, and site-specific policies at a utility location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify authorization for entry where required, and document deliveries, contractors, and service vendors per site requirements.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site contacts and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Complete detailed reports, activity logs, and incident documentation, and communicate observations to supervisors and site stakeholders during shift transitions.
