As a Security Officer Patrol in Rocklin, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a utilities location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness throughout the site. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A current guard card and/or license is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or members of the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related activities, and emergency response support at a utilities location.
Respond to incidents, unusual activity, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to supervisors, site contacts, and/or first responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify potential issues, policy violations, and/or suspicious activity.
Monitor entry and exit points, check credentials when required, and document visitor, vehicle, and/or contractor activity in accordance with site policies and post instructions.
Complete routine reports, logs, and incident documentation, and support assigned security-related duties that align with the location's operational needs and applicable procedures.
