As an Allied Universal Access Control Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry and exit points, verify identification, support visitor and driver check-in, and monitor activity to help reduce security-related issues. You will maintain a visible presence, conduct routine patrols, and communicate clearly with team members and site personnel. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Manage access control for employees, visitors, and drivers by verifying identification, issuing temporary credentials, maintaining entry and exit logs, and directing traffic flow at gates and/or checkpoints.
• Monitor CCTV, alarms, and communications equipment and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns to site management per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and completing required reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouses, loading docks, yard areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
