Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through clear communication and customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements, offering variety, teamwork, and a role built on integrity, reliability, and a people-first culture.

Requirements

• Client requires proof of high school diploma and/or GED.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a chemical manufacturing location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, process areas, storage yards, loading and unloading points, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or hazardous conditions that could impact operations.
• Monitor access points and controlled areas, verify credentials as required, and direct visitors and contractors according to site procedures and hazard communication requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and/or public responders when needed.
• Complete detailed reports and daily activity logs, document unusual occurrences, and communicate key information during shift transitions.
