About the position

The Security Flex Officer at Allied Universal is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of various facilities. This role involves acting as a visible deterrent to crime, monitoring for suspicious activities, and responding to incidents at assigned locations. The position requires flexibility to work at multiple sites and during various shifts, providing essential security services to clients and the community.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and security of the facilities they protect.
• Act as a visible deterrent to crime and client rule infractions.
• Detect and report suspicious, unsafe, or criminal acts at or near assigned posts.
• Provide exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently.
• Work for multiple clients at various locations, covering special projects, call-offs, vacations, and open shifts.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Licensing requirements may be subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.
• For driving positions, must possess a valid Driver's License with at least one year of driving experience and a clean driving record.
• Must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen.

Nice-to-haves
