You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and respond to calls for service with clear communication and a customer-first approach. You will document observations, assist tenants and visitors, and partner with site teams using agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity. A valid driver’s license is required.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with access concerns, disturbances, and property-related issues.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of commercial real estate common areas, building exteriors, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
  • Monitor and document activity using daily reports and incident reports, communicating notable conditions to site management and/or Allied Universal supervision.
  • Control access where assigned by observing entry points, checking credentials as directed, and assisting with visitor guidance and/or tenant inquiries.
