As a Dispatch Security Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor activity, manage incoming requests, coordinate incident response, and support site operations through clear communication. You will use computer-based tools to document security-related events, help guide patrol resources, and assist visitors and employees with professional customer service. Requirements

  • Client requires proof of high school diploma and/or GED.
  • Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities within an industrial processing location.
  • Monitor alarms, CCTV and/or access control systems; dispatch officers and/or appropriate responders to alarms, calls for service and unusual activity.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; coordinate radio and telephone communications to support timely incident response.
  • Document security-related events using required reports, logs and dispatch records; communicate key information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter when assigned; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
