Security Officer - Factory Patrol
About The Position
As a Security Officer - Factory Patrol in Toledo, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will greet employees and visitors, support access control and incident reporting, and communicate clearly with site leadership and your team. Bring teamwork, integrity, and an innovative, people-first approach to every shift.
Requirements
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to client personnel and visitors by following site-specific, security-related procedures, post orders, and reporting requirements at an industrial manufacturing location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, yards, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
- Monitor gates, doors, and other controlled access points; verify credentials as required and document entries, exits, deliveries, and contractor activity per site policy.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; coordinate notifications and/or emergency response activities according to site direction.
- Complete detailed shift reports, incident documentation, and daily activity logs; communicate observations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
