About The Position

As a Security Officer Facility Access Control in Tustin, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an Aero and/or Defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and provide clear customer service and communication. You will support a caring culture that puts people first while staying agile, reliable, and innovative, delivering through teamwork and always acting with integrity.

Requirements

• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors at an aero and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, and perimeter routes; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify identification and/or authorization as required by post orders, and help to deter unauthorized entry and policy violations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, notifications, and coordination with site contacts and/or public responders when directed.
• Document patrols, access activity, and incidents in written and/or electronic reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel per post orders.
