As a Security Officer Entrance Monitor in Plant City, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by following site-specific access control procedures, screening visitors, verifying credentials, and documenting entry and exit activity at the location.
• Monitor entrances, gates, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access, and/or report suspicious activity, policy violations, and security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around receiving, shipping, parking, and perimeter areas to observe conditions and report maintenance issues, hazards, and security-related incidents.
• Support retail and distribution operations by assisting with vehicle and delivery access, confirming authorized pickups and drop-offs, and maintaining accurate logs and reports.
