About The Position

As a Security Officer Driving Role Entry Gate in Paulsboro, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location as an Access Control Officer in a driving post. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Have 2+ years of security-related experience.
  • Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to all persons at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor access control points for employees, contractors, visitors, and deliveries by checking identification, credentials, authorizations, and/or required entry documentation.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site leadership and/or emergency personnel as needed.
  • Maintain accurate logs and reports related to visitor processing, vehicle activity, restricted area access, and other security-related observations at the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around entry points, operational areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions in a chemical and petrochemical environment.
