As a Security Officer Driver Lobby Desk in Tarrytown, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out site-specific policies, screening visitors, managing access procedures, and/or answering questions in a professional manner.
  • Monitor lobby and reception activity, verify identification and credentials, issue visitor badges or access permissions as directed, and report unusual activity or policy concerns.
  • Respond to incidents, urgent situations, and/or requests for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate site personnel or emergency services when needed.
  • Support a healthcare location by maintaining visitor logs, documenting incidents, receiving deliveries or directing vendors, and helping to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
  • Perform routine front desk security-related duties such as monitoring cameras, answering phones, maintaining post records, and communicating clearly with staff, guests, and/or contractors.
