About The Position

As a Security Officer - Dispatch Full-Time in Tucson, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Dispatch Officer in a financial institution location, you will coordinate security-related responses, monitor cameras and alarms, document activity, and support officers with clear, timely communication. You will help maintain smooth operations by staying visible at key points, conducting routine patrols as needed, and delivering customer-focused service. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Operate the dispatch post by receiving calls and/or radio traffic, prioritizing requests for service, and coordinating responses with on-site officers and site contacts.
  • Monitor alarms, access control, and camera systems when assigned, and document observations and actions according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or public emergency services as required by post orders.
  • Complete timely reports and logs for dispatch activity, incident notifications, and shift communications to help support security-related operations.
