About The Position

As a Security Officer Checkpoint Screener in Irving, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
  • Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries at designated entry points by verifying credentials, checking authorization, and documenting access activity according to post procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Monitor lobbies, screening stations, loading areas, and other assigned access points for unusual activity, policy violations, and/or unauthorized entry attempts.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as directed by site needs and working conditions.
