Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, property concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and document observations according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout commercial real estate buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points, lobbies, and/or designated entry areas to help to support authorized access, visitor direction, and general awareness of property activity.
  • Communicate with property management, tenants, and/or emergency personnel regarding security-related matters, maintenance concerns, and incident updates as needed.
