As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Driver in El Reno, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Requirements

  • An Armed Guard Card and/or license is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for an educational location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations and actions according to site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter locations, noting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.
  • Monitor entrances, high-traffic areas, and assigned posts while maintaining readiness for an armed presence in accordance with post orders, licensing requirements, and Allied Universal standards.
  • Support access control, after-hours building checks, and special event coverage as assigned, while documenting security-related concerns and communicating with campus contacts and/or local first responders when needed.
