About The Position
We are seeking to fill a Part Time Security Officer position. Schedule: 10:00am to 8:00pm Saturday and Sunday. Security Officers are responsible for performing access control, routine patrols, emergency/incident response and ensuring completion of administrative requirements as assigned by the Security Office.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Minimum one (1) year security work experience in a professional setting
- Guard card required
- Experience performing technical procedures and completing reports
- Comfortable working under pressure
- Being dedicated to quality service
- Familiarity with Security policies and procedures
- Ability to assess and quickly react to emergency situations while maintaining composure and professionalism
- Ability to follow detailed, step by step, procedures
- Understand operational priorities, take initiative, and exercise sound independent judgment
- Capable of working independently without extensive direction or oversight
- Use technology to process information, improve security and communications
- Strong multi-tasking skills
- Detail-oriented focus
Nice To Haves
- Preferred certifications: baton, mace, handcuffing, CPR/First Aid/AED preferred
Responsibilities
- Monitoring all access/exit points for anomalies and conducting access control
- Patrolling perimeter, exterior and interior of the property to ensure the safety of personnel and protection of property
- Enforcing Club policies
- Engaging in security training
- Completing written reports
- Documenting daily activities
- Abiding by standard operating procedures
- Responding to security incidents
