About the position

The Security Monitor at Trulieve plays a crucial role in supporting security services across various operational functions and locations. This position involves monitoring for internal and external theft, assisting with investigations, and collaborating with various departments to maintain security integrity. The role requires a proactive approach to security management and the ability to build relationships with operational partners to ensure a safe environment for employees and patients.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Site Supervisor (SS) in planning, managing, and reporting security directives and objectives.
• Support SS and other employees in implementing security directives related to State Production and Cultivation.
• Monitor area activities and proactively plan security measures.
• Participate in day-to-day monitoring of physical security and safety operations.
• Maintain accountability of administrative reports and review processes for effectiveness.
• Communicate effectively with SS regarding security operations and incidents.
• Track investigations and provide incident reports and recommendations to leadership.
• Monitor compliance with security policies and procedures.
• Support the Regional Security Director's vision and security plan.
• Train staff on security protocols and emergency preparedness.

Requirements

• 2+ years' experience in law enforcement, military, or security.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to prioritize work and complete assigned directives.
• Solid knowledge of risk assessment methodologies.
• Basic project management skills.
• Experience with conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a healthcare or medical environment.
• Knowledge of security technology and systems.
