About The Position

This is a temporary project role for a Security Manager in Tallahassee, FL, with an estimated duration of 12+ months and possible extensions. The position offers a hybrid work setting, involving both onsite and authorized telework, with specific onsite days/percentage to be confirmed with the client.

Requirements

• IT work experience with a broad range of exposure to all aspects of business (7+ years)
• Experience managing the development and delivery of IT security standards, best practices, architecture and systems to ensure information system security across the enterprise.
• Experience implementing processes and methods for auditing and addressing non-compliance to information security standards; facilitating migration of non-compliant environments to compliant environments.
• Experience conducting studies within and outside the organization to ensure compliance with standards and currency with industry security norms.
• Experience managing and participating in the planning and implementation of security administration for all IT projects.
• Experience assisting in the implementation of changes to work methods and procedures to make them more effective or to strengthen security measures.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with the ARMIS Vulnerability Management Platform.

Responsibilities

• Manage the development and delivery of IT security standards, best practices, architecture, and systems to ensure enterprise-wide information system security.
• Implement processes and methods for auditing and addressing non-compliance to information security standards; facilitate migration of non-compliant environments to compliant environments.
• Conduct compliance studies within and outside the organization to ensure adherence to standards and currency with industry security norms.
• Manage and participate in the planning and implementation of security administration across all IT projects.
• Assist in implementing changes to work methods and procedures to improve effectiveness and strengthen security measures.
• Submit weekly status reports detailing task progress, level of service provided, and projected completion dates.
• Provide monthly time reports and technical documentation in compliance with client policies, procedures, and technical standards.
