Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help monitor access points, verify credentials, and conduct screenings that support smooth daily operations. In this role, you will remain visible, provide outstanding customer service and communication, and help address security-related concerns with agility, reliability, and integrity while working as part of a caring, team-oriented culture.

Requirements

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access control duties, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Screen people, packages, and/or personal property entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and client-directed protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around screening areas, entry points, loading and receiving zones, and the perimeter as assigned.
  • Document screening results, incidents, and policy-related concerns with clear and accurate written reports to help support security-related operations.
