In this driving post, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or passengers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and activities according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, transit areas, parking locations, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Monitor access points and public areas, assist with directing foot traffic and/or vehicle traffic, and report maintenance, operational, and/or security-related concerns to the appropriate contact.
• Support order at the location by communicating professionally with the public and staff, following post instructions, and helping with crowd management during busy periods, service disruptions, and/or special events.
