As a Security Guard Armed Patrol Driver Role in Laurinburg, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Security Officer in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post where you will support daily operations with professionalism, integrity, and teamwork while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including requesting assistance when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, controlled areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or permissions, and document unusual activity, incidents, and policy violations according to site protocols.
• Support order within the location by following post orders, maintaining visible presence, and communicating clearly with staff, visitors, and responding personnel.
