About the position
The Security / Fire Alarm Technician at Keep Out Services, Inc. is responsible for the installation and servicing of security and fire alarm systems, cameras, and access control systems. This full-time position requires direct interaction with clients and troubleshooting of various systems to ensure their proper functioning.
Responsibilities
- Install and service security and fire alarm systems, cameras, and access control systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair systems as needed.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding system operations and services.
- Maintain a clean driving and criminal record to comply with company policies.
- Obtain and maintain a Level 1 Technician License.
Requirements
- Must be a US citizen or have authorization to work in the U.S.
- Must hold or be able to obtain a Level 1 Technician License.
- Must have a clean criminal and driving record and be able to pass a background check.
- Previous experience and knowledge of security and fire alarm systems, cameras, and access control systems is required.
- Ability to troubleshoot and service/repair systems.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in customer service.
- Mechanical knowledge related to low voltage systems.
