As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, you will monitor entry points, verify badges and credentials, conduct routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, visitor processing, and/or security-related policies at a food and beverage location.
  • Monitor entrances, gates, badge activity, and/or credential checks to help control authorized access for personnel, deliveries, and/or contractors.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Document visitor logs, vehicle information, delivery activity, and/or unusual incidents in accordance with site procedures and reporting expectations.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, with attention to entry points, shipping and receiving areas, and other sensitive operational spaces.
