The Secretary /Receptionist is responsible for coordinating the efficient flow of patients and visitors. The Secretary/Receptionist greets all outpatients and visitors and informs other staff of arrivals, answers and relays all incoming telephone calls, and maintains staff and patient schedules. Other tasks include, but are not limited to, general reception and clerical duties such as preparing patient charts for visits, requesting and retrieving patient records, filing, and typing correspondence and reports. The Secretary/Receptionist is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of all personal and clinical information of the patients served.
