About the position
Covenant Accounting LLC is seeking an experienced Seasonal Tax Preparer to join their Milwaukee area CPA firm. This role involves preparing federal and multi-state income tax returns during the peak tax season, which runs from mid-January through mid-April. The position offers a flexible schedule with the possibility of working nights and weekends, accommodating 20-35 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Prepare medium to complex federal and multi-state income tax returns.
Requirements
- 5+ years of tax preparation experience required
- Bachelor's degree required
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced work environment
- Experience with UltraTax is a plus
- Comfortable working in a paperless environment
Nice-to-haves
- Masters in Taxation
- Enrolled Agent certification
- CPA certification
