About the position

The Seasonal Shipping & Receiving Clerk plays a crucial role in the back of house operations at a Tiffany store, focusing on client service, order fulfillment, and inventory management. This position is essential for driving store sales and profitability while ensuring that merchandise is delivered with the Tiffany Touch. The clerk collaborates with sales professionals, management, and corporate partners to enhance the overall client experience and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional client service and support to drive store sales and profitability.
  • Carry out operations functions to achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales plans.
  • Capture data during client interactions to cultivate new and existing clients.
  • Handle internal and external phone and email correspondence to optimize sales opportunities.
  • Deliver memorable in-store experiences as a Tiffany brand ambassador during every client interaction.
  • Execute best practices in hospitality and store amenities to enhance client experiences.
  • Perform daily tasks such as order fulfillment, shipping, receiving, and replenishment.
  • Monitor and reconcile merchandise inventory, reporting discrepancies to management or corporate partners.
  • Communicate effectively with sales professionals, management, and clients regarding product and service information.
  • Support company operations efficiency objectives by maximizing productivity and providing feedback on process changes.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work retail store hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Organized and detail-oriented.
  • Flexibility to perform various tasks based on day-to-day business needs.
  • Must have authorization to work in the United States.

Nice-to-haves

  • A college/university degree.
  • Graduate gemologist degree or previous Gemological Institute of America (GIA) coursework.

Benefits

  • Competitive hourly wage ranging from $20.00 to $23.00 per hour, based on relevant skills and experience.
