About the position

The Seasonal Sales Associate at Men's Wearhouse is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience across various business segments, including retail, rental, and custom clothing. This role emphasizes customer engagement, teamwork, and adaptability to new programs, all while contributing to a positive work environment and achieving sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate benchmark selling techniques for retail sales, custom clothing sales, and special occasion rentals.
• Encourage and participate in team selling.
• Build relationships with customers from greeting through post-sale contact.
• Monitor and positively impact store sales volume and metrics goals.
• Meet and maintain personal volume goals while ensuring quality of sale.
• Assist with alteration fittings and provide recommendations for alterations.
• Receive shipments and maintain a clean, organized store.
• Assist with visual merchandising in compliance with brand standards.
• Help monitor the security of company property and report any discrepancies.
• Participate in merchandise stock counts as requested by management.
• Maintain a workplace free of harassment and discrimination.

Requirements

• Entry-level position with a focus on customer service and sales.
• Ability to stand and walk for the majority of the work shift.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, squat, twist, and climb ladders.
