Seasonal Service & Engagement roles focus on guest experience, welcoming, thanking, and exceeding guest service expectations. Seasonal General Merchandise & Food Sales roles are experts in operations, process, and efficiency, ensuring a consistent experience for guests by maintaining product availability and accurate pricing on the sales floor. These roles provide knowledge of guest service fundamentals, experience in retail business fundamentals, and the ability to execute daily/weekly workloads to support business priorities and sales goals.
Responsibilities
- Provide tailored suggestions and solutions through active selling and compelling visual merchandising presentations.
- Welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction and recovery.
- Ensure product is set, in-stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor.
- Accurately handle cash register operations.
- Climb up and down ladders as needed.
- Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 40 pounds.
