About the position

As a Seasonal Merchandising Service Associate at Lowe's, you will deliver quality customer service while maintaining a store that is clean, safe, and stocked with the products our customers need. Your responsibilities will include being friendly and professional, engaging vendors and associates to meet store needs, ensuring signage, pricing information, and displays are accurate, and creating visually appealing product selections that are safe, clean, and easy for customers to access. You will complete merchandising resets and service-related projects accurately, on time, and in accordance with merchandising and safety standards. Success in this role requires following detailed project instructions, building displays, processing damaged products, rotating and pricing stock, resolving project issues or questions, checking third party work completion, and providing proof of project completion.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver quality customer service while maintaining a clean and safe store.
  • Engage vendors and associates to meet store needs.
  • Ensure signage, pricing information, and displays are accurate.
  • Create visually appealing product selections that are safe and easy for customers to access.
  • Complete merchandising resets and service-related projects accurately and on time.
  • Follow detailed project instructions.
  • Build displays and process damaged products.
  • Rotate and price stock, and resolve project issues or questions.
  • Check third party work completion and provide proof of project completion.

Requirements

  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction).
  • Ability to work overnight and weekends as required.
  • Ability to utilize web based computer programs to accomplish assigned tasks.

Nice-to-haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 6 months of Lowe's sales floor experience.
  • 6 months of experience performing product merchandising tasks including reading planograms, setting up and tearing down displays.
  • 3 months of experience operating power equipment such as lifts, order pickers, and similar equipment.
  • Working knowledge of basic tools needed for the job (e.g., hand tools, drills, saws).
