About the position

As a Seasonal Merchandising Service Associate at Lowe's, you will play a crucial role in delivering quality customer service while ensuring the store is clean, safe, and stocked with the products our customers need. Your responsibilities will include being friendly and professional, engaging with vendors and associates to meet store needs, ensuring that signage, pricing information, and displays are accurate, and creating visually appealing product selections that are safe, clean, and easy for customers to access. You will complete merchandising resets and service-related projects accurately, on time, and in accordance with merchandising and safety standards. Success in this role requires the ability to follow detailed project instructions, build displays, process damaged products, rotate and price stock, resolve project issues or questions, check third-party work completion, and provide proof of project completion.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver quality customer service while maintaining a clean and stocked store.
  • Engage vendors and associates to meet store needs.
  • Ensure signage, pricing information, and displays are accurate.
  • Create visually appealing product selections that are safe and easy for customers to access.
  • Complete merchandising resets and service-related projects accurately and on time.
  • Follow detailed project instructions and safety standards.
  • Build displays and process damaged products.
  • Rotate and price stock, and resolve project issues or questions.
  • Check third-party work completion and provide proof of project completion.

Requirements

  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction).
  • Ability to work overnight and weekends as required.
  • Ability to utilize web-based computer programs to accomplish assigned tasks.

Nice-to-haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 6 months of Lowe's sales floor experience.
  • 6 months of experience performing product merchandising tasks including reading planograms, setting up and tearing down displays.
  • 3 months of experience operating power equipment such as lifts, order pickers, and similar equipment.
  • Working knowledge of basic tools needed for the job (e.g., hand tools, drills, saws).

Benefits

  • Pay range of $18.00 - $25.20 per hour based on various factors including position, location, education, training, and experience.
