About the position

As a Seasonal Merchandiser at Spectrum Brands, you will be responsible for completing store visits to assess inventory levels, fill displays, and assist customers. This role focuses on merchandising and promoting sales of consumer products while building customer loyalty through effective communication and support.

Responsibilities

• Complete store visits as assigned.
• Check in with a department leader or store associate upon arrival.
• Assess inventory levels and request backstock as needed.
• Fill displays and stock shelves with products.
• Assist customers with inquiries and product selection.
• Complete additional projects as instructed by management.
• Clean up the work area after completing tasks.
• Check out with a department leader or store associate before leaving.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years of retail or sales experience.
• Motivation and drive to succeed.
• Clear and professional communication skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the territory, including overnight stays if needed.
