About the position
The Seasonal ICQA Troubleshooter - Power Equipment Operator at Macy's is responsible for utilizing powered equipment to execute RTV processing and cycle-counting within the distribution center. This role is crucial for ensuring accurate inventory management and maintaining operational efficiency in the supply chain.
Responsibilities
- Complete OSHA required documents/checklists daily
- Perform and record counts within allotted time frames for all storage type commodities
- Correct WMS inventory counts as needed; accountable for all WMS adjustments
- Follow all pick, put away, cycle count, and facility-wide housekeeping procedures
- Report all equipment failures, damages, and truck accidents as they occur
- Provide feedback to OHS on environmental issues affecting safe equipment operation
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to read and interpret instructional documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals
- Resourceful self-starter, works well independently as well as part of a team
- Must be proficient in the use of computers and handheld technology
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays
