About The Position
We're Hiring: Seasonal Food Service Associate | $18.80/hourly Schedule: Monday to Friday, 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm | Position Type: Temporary (Summer Program) ends 07/31/2026 Looking for a hands-on, fast-paced, and rewarding summer job? As a Seasonal Food Services Associate, you'll play a key role in helping deliver meals to families through our summer dinner program. You won't be stuck behind a stove-this role is all about prepping, assembling, organizing, and serving delicious meals while keeping things clean, safe, and running smoothly. You'll split your time between the kitchen and meal service, making every shift dynamic and engaging!
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Current Food Handler's Permit (or ability to obtain within 2 weeks)
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs
- Ability to lift/carry 50+ lbs. and stay active throughout your shift
- Communicate effectively in English
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
Nice To Haves
- 0-3 years of kitchen or food service experience
- A valid driver's license
Responsibilities
- Prepping ingredients (wash, chop, portion-no cooking required)
- Assembling meals and getting them ready for service
- Serving meals to families with a friendly, welcoming attitude
- Keeping the kitchen clean, organized, and up to health standards
- Following food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Supporting the team wherever needed
