About the position

As a Seasonal Associate at Famous Footwear, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional shopping experience for customers by maintaining a welcoming environment and engaging with them effectively. Your role will involve various retail operations, customer engagement, and contributing to a positive team culture while promoting the company's values and goals.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily store tasks such as pricing, shipment processing, fulfillment, and inventory are completed efficiently.
• Deliver stellar customer engagement and create memorable shopping experiences for customers.
• Review store performance and drive sales to achieve goals, ensuring every shoe sale counts.
• Act with integrity by adhering to company policies and procedures, seeking feedback for personal development.
• Embrace diversity and inclusivity, maintaining a positive work environment for all associates.
• Assist with training and development of teammates when needed, fostering a supportive team atmosphere.
• Provide shoe recommendations to customers, ensuring they leave with the perfect fit.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to build constructive relationships within the store.
• Demonstrated positive communication skills with store associates at all levels.
• Independent judgment and discretion in partnership with Store Sales Manager and/or Assistant Managers.
• Working knowledge of general retail practices and procedures.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Flexible schedule availability, including holidays, nights, weekends, and extended hours.
