Seasonal Application Reader

About the position

The Seasonal Application Reader position at Brown University involves assisting the Enrollment Management Team in reviewing applications for admissions to various master's programs. This part-time, remote role requires readers to conduct initial reviews of applications, ensuring eligibility for further evaluation while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial pre-review of applications for assigned programs.
• Determine eligibility of applications for further review by the program.
• Complete 20-25 hours of application review weekly.
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality during the review process.
• Regularly communicate with the Associate Director of Graduate Degree Enrollment regarding the review process, application volume, and timeline.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• At least one year of experience with application review.
• Own computer and stable internet connection.
• Availability to work 20-25 hours per week, with some availability during core business hours (9-5 ET) Monday - Friday.
• Demonstrated ability to support a community of diverse perspectives and cultures in an inclusive environment.
