The primary purpose of the Screening Coordinator is to conduct screening of participants for a clinical study and to assist in other activities that need to be completed to conduct a clinical study.
Responsibilities
Ability to communicate clearly with staff and subjects.
Perform all activities at screening as required by study protocol. Activities may include, but not limited to: obtaining height and weight measurements and calculating BMI, collecting vital signs, performing an electrocardiogram (ECG), collecting medical history information and collecting blood and urine samples for clinical laboratory testing.
Assist Physician for conducting Physical exams.
Review the consent forms thoroughly and clearly with subjects and answer all questions to help ensure understanding.
Ensure all data collection is attributable, legible, contemporaneous, original and accurate.
Schedule flexibility to meet the needs of study requirements.
