About the position
The Second Shift Screen Printing Team Lead will oversee the screen printing operations during the evening shift at Detroit Printing Company. This role is crucial for managing a team, ensuring quality control, and meeting production deadlines while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
Responsibilities
- Run up to an 18 Color Press
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the screen printing team
- Ensure production schedules are met and maintain high-quality standards
- Train new employees on screen printing processes and safety protocols
- Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance as needed
- Troubleshoot any production issues that arise during the shift
- Maintain inventory of supplies and materials necessary for printing
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in screen printing for 2 years
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with screen printing equipment and techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
