Science Teacher - Biology and Chemistry Certified Probationary Position

About the position

The Science Teacher - Biology/Chem position is designed for candidates with a strong background in both Biology and Chemistry. The role requires proficiency in online presentation software and data analysis, which are preferred skills for applicants. The teacher will work collaboratively to develop and implement an inquiry-based curriculum while increasing support with parents and the community through outreach activities.

Requirements

• Hold a current NYS certification in Biology 7-12, dual certification with Chemistry preferred.
• Background and comfort using technology in innovative ways to enhance the learning experience for students.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Suite and Google products as well as current presentation software.
• Familiarity in the use of virtual laboratory software.
