About the position
We are seeking a compassionate School Social Worker or Counselor to support special education students within a collaborative educational environment. This role focuses on providing therapy and support to students, working closely with families, and being part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to fostering positive outcomes for students.
Responsibilities
- Provide group and individual therapy sessions tailored to students needs
- Collaborate with families to support student development
- Participate actively in a multidisciplinary team to craft and implement effective student support plans
Requirements
- Minimum 1+ years social worker experience required
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License, Type 73 Certificate for School Social Worker
- LSW or LCSW certification preferred
