About the position
The Department of Management Information Systems at Central Connecticut State University seeks to establish a pool of qualified applicants for part-time appointments as adjunct faculty in the discipline of MIS. The MIS department is housed within the CCSU School of Business, which is AACSB accredited. Courses are taught on campus or in a hybrid format and are offered both days and evenings. The number of positions varies by semester and depends upon the needs of the department. Appointments are for one semester, and may be renewable based on need, funding, and performance. We are especially interested in practitioners who have professional and teaching expertise in the areas of: Intro to MIS, Application Development, Project Management, E-Business, Database Management Systems, Information and Communications Infrastructure, Systems Analysis and Design, IT Strategy, and Business Analytics.
Requirements
- Master's degree or higher in Management Information Systems or in a related field
- Professional experience that is current, and substantial in terms of duration and level of responsibility
- Commitment to serving culturally, ethnically and linguistically diverse communities.

- Have an ability to use technology effectively in teaching and learning
- Evidence of quality teaching experience.
