About the position
To provide for the safe crossing of school children at designated school crosswalks throughout the City of Euless. This individual will serve on an 'as-needed' basis in the absence of another school crossing guard.
Responsibilities
- Must be on duty at assigned station during hours specified by the Patrol Division commander of the Euless Police Department.
- Must be ready to begin work on time and never leave post early.
- Be familiar with and adhere to the City of Euless Adult School Crossing Guard Guidelines.
Requirements
- Must be eighteen (18) years of age.
- English speaking.
- Legal United States resident.
- Must have good vision.
- Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time.
- No prior convictions of any felony or misdemeanor of Grade 'A' or 'B'.
- No prior history of drug abuse.
- No prior history of child abuse.
- Must be able to work a split shift.
