About The Position

DS Bus Lines Inc. is seeking dedicated School Bus Drivers for a part-time, flexible weekday schedule with summers off. This role involves safely transporting students to and from school and activities, performing pre-trip inspections, ensuring child safety, and maintaining compliance with DOT regulations. Requirements

• Must be able to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• No experience necessary; paid CDL training provided
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Must be able to perform child checks after each route
• Must maintain compliance with DOT regulations

Nice To Haves

• Experience in roles such as teacher aides, daycare workers, camp counselors, classroom assistants, school paraprofessionals, social workers, government employees, cashiers, retail associates, call center agents, hotel or hospitality staff.
• Military experience encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and activities
• Arrive at destinations on time
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Conduct child checks after each route
• Use navigation tools to plan efficient routes
• Maintain a clean, fueled, and well-maintained vehicle
• Keep accurate mileage and maintenance records
• Interact with students, parents, and staff in a professional manner
• Perform other duties as assigned
