About the position
The School-Based Nurse position involves providing nursing care to students in a high school setting. This role is essential for ensuring the health and well-being of students, supporting their academic success through health management and intervention.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to students on a 1:1 caseload basis.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor and assess student health needs and respond appropriately.
- Collaborate with school staff and parents to promote student health and wellness.
- Maintain accurate health records and documentation.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1+ years nursing experience required.
- Must be a Registered Nurse with a valid Nurse License in Washington.
