About the position

The School Age Site Director at Prairie Run Elementary is responsible for overseeing the Before and After School Program, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for students. This role involves planning and implementing daily programming, fostering connections between students, families, and the YMCA, and maintaining compliance with licensing standards.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the planning and implementing of daily programming.
  • Work closely with school and YMCA personnel to ensure positive outcomes for students.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with YMCA employees, school personnel, administration, students, and families.
  • Ensure compliance with ODJFS licensing rules and standards.
  • Keep written student records and collect data for reports.
  • Establish and promote a cause-driven program that is safe, consistent, and academically stimulating.

Requirements

  • Experience in program management or education.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Knowledge of ODJFS licensing rules and standards.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working with school-aged children.
  • Leadership experience in a similar role.
