The company is seeking a Scaffold Builder for a position in Pass Christian, MS. This role involves assembling, positioning, modifying, and dismantling scaffolding according to job specifications. It is a non-exempt role that reports to a Frontline Supervisor (Leadman or foreman), with assigned duties checked frequently according to specific procedures. No per diem is available for this position.

Requirements

High school or equivalent
One to four years of experience in specified skill (depending on mechanic level)
Ability to operate different types of Forklift
Written pre-employment qualification test
Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation
Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others in the workplace
Applicant/employee must provide: toolbox, tool belt, adjustable wrench, ratchet wrench with socket, claw hammer, cutting pliers, torpedo level, tape, and rain suit

Nice To Haves

NCCER certified is a plus
Ability to read engineered drawings preferred

Responsibilities

Inspects surface for holes, objects, and levelness.
Assembles scaffold consisting of guardrails, mid-rails, braces, planks, toe boards, screens and/or wheels.
Positions scaffold by rolling it into place or erecting in place.
Secures scaffold to permanent structure if required.
Performs other assembly types which may include hard barricades, strong backs, engineered scaffold, stairways, etc.
Performs additional assignments per supervisor's direction.
