About the position
At Deloitte, you'll work with the best in the business to solve their toughest problems. As a Manager in the SAP Offering, you will contribute to the growth and success of Deloitte Consulting LLP and the SAP Offering in a variety of ways, including client service, delivery, eminence, people development, and business development. You will advise clients on leading practices and technology/industry trends, manage SAP implementation projects, contribute to internal initiatives, mentor junior staff, and participate in sales pursuits. Deloitte's SAP practice helps clients move from legacy systems to enterprise-wide solutions by efficiently designing and implementing SAP solutions, focusing on achieving results that support business strategies through process improvement, technology, and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Advise clients on leading practices and technology/industry trends.
- Build lasting relationships and manage day-to-day interactions with executive clients and sponsors.
- Manage and deliver SAP implementation projects.
- Identify the organization's needs and define the business or technology architecture.
- Oversee the solution design and implementation.
- Manage team activities and progress.
- Contribute to go-to-market and internal initiatives to drive growth.
- Drive efficiency and profitability, improve quality, and increase staff knowledge.
- Mentor and coach junior staff to help them achieve their career objectives.
- Participate in onboarding activities.
- Provide leadership and support for staff on projects and in local offices.
- Participate in sales pursuit efforts as a team member or subject matter advisor.
- Develop and maintain relationships with client stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 8 years' relevant SAP consulting experience in a professional services environment.
- At least 5 years of experience working in the Aerospace & Defense (A&D) industry or with A&D clients.
- SAP FICO experience.
- SAP RAR (Revenue Accounting and Recognition) experience.
- Hands-on functional configuration experience with SAP Results Analysis (RA).
- S4 HANA implementation experience.
- Participation in at least 4 end-to-end SAP Finance/RAR implementations.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
- Professional competence in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
- Ability to travel up to 50% based on work and client needs.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

- Prior 'Big 4' consulting experience.
- Experience leading pre-sales, proposal, and RFPs.
- Experience managing senior-level client relationships.
- Experience with developing eminence, thought ware and point-of-view materials.
- Experience delivering projects using SAP ASAP & Agile methodologies.

- Greenfield implementation experience.
- Master's degree.
