About the position

The SAP Industry Principal at Accenture is responsible for leading medium to large opportunities in applications maintenance, systems integration, and application infrastructure support. This role involves creating and delivering value-based solutions, establishing trusted advisor relationships with clients, and guiding deal strategies to differentiate Accenture's offerings. The position requires a deep understanding of SAP solutions and the ability to translate complex business requirements into effective solutions, while also mentoring fellow solution advisors and participating in sales and marketing events.

Responsibilities

• Guide deal strategy by providing industry and solution insight and Accenture's solution portfolio.
• Establish a trusted advisory relationship with key decision makers and executives during the initial sales cycle and through adoption.
• Understand and convey the business outcomes and business value gained from SAP's technology solutions.
• Translate complex business requirements to SAP solutions.
• Oversee the response to RFIs and RFPs.
• Lead complex sales cycles with multiple solution advisors.
• Support one-to-many sales and marketing events both on-site and remotely.
• Maintain sales authorization training and certifications.
• Mentor Solution Architects and share knowledge and thought leadership with the broader solution advisory team.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in a Technology Environment with a strong focus on outsourcing and/or systems integration solutions.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Solution Planning and Deal Shaping.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in software engineering with an expertise in SAP Solutions.
• Minimum of 8 years of SAP industry experience such as Manufacturing, Chemical, Consumer Goods, Life Sciences, etc.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate's Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)
